Couldn’t resist sharing this, every time I look at it, I laugh like a silly little kid — had a ball this New Year’s Eve. Will post pictures of food I made when they are sent to me Smile

Jed and Chris (since when I started hanging with 21 year olds?! lol) at the piano, video length 4 min 43 sec

So, a note of warning… excuse me for my outbursts of “I love you, Jed”… It was late, and there were only a few of us left lol

and no, it wasn’t me humming, and no, I didn’t start playing “Right Here Waiting” this time, and no, it wasn’t my hand, and yes, it was my knee…

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

For no reason at all, I baked some heart shaped raisin scones for the first time (they were fabulous btw!!), a fresh loaf of 12 grain bread, and cooked up a big pot of vege soup this afternoon. Facebooked bff Linda over and she just came — after her busy day treating patients! — she makes me happy Smile We had the loveliest time on my roof garden, the day was beautiful…

Linda Tao

love her!!!

Fun Night :-) April 20, 2009

Making dinner at bff Linda’s last night. Had mover packed up all my books — didn’t have enough time nor resources to sketch up a more complexed menu… But it was still a tasty dinner, well, I assume, and as I was told Smile since I didn’t eat any of the food — on the 4th day of my raw vege juice fast — trying to regain my health.

Chilled Yellow Tomato Soup with Avocado Sorbet

Went off to hear my dear friend Jed‘s jazz piano performance after at Cafe Vivaldi, the lady singing in the clip actually works at the cafe bar… Enjoyed it very much, fun night Smile

Dot April 2, 2009

Dine at “Dot” (隨意鳥地方), a panoramic city view restaurant on the 85th floor of Taipei 101 with two high school friends tonight. Special requested the chef to make me a plate of raw vege with no dairy nor dressing, was glad the masterful chef didn’t get offended — just couldn’t eat anymore refined food Wink

looking out from our window seat table… love Taipei 101…

Miss Lin March 31, 2009

Meet up with bff Celine in Taipei today at 信誼 children’s bookshop shopping for her kids, Zoe and Otto. Love this fuzzy book I found Smile

img_2415.jpg img_2414.jpg

Went visiting my childhood piano teacher at the university after (also Celine’s college piano teacher by coincidence). Miss Lin, who I am in debt to in many many ways, has not changed a bit all these years!

img_2420.jpg

hah, someone (me) is getting chubby! Too much good food and happiness makes one grow sideways Wink

Went to Taipei 101’s Pageone Bookshop and then Eslite Bookshop after by myself, can’t get enough books… took lots of pictures of Hello Kitty everywhere, decided not to post them any longer, this city is really plagued with HK and all the Japanese overload cuteness…

Yep, Rachmaninoff does this to you :-)) March 15, 2009

Too bad Hyung-Ki is in New York while I am in Taipei, well, I am dying of laughter watching him on YouTube instead…

this is only the 2nd concerto, imagine what damage the 3rd concerto does… Smile
